How many weeks or months you decide to spend in therapy is up to you. Most of my clients are in therapy for 3-9 months. Many former clients also “drop in” and have appointments from time to once therapy has ended, to check in!

I’m happy to consider applications and referrals from UK Health Insurance policies and will register with companies of your choice if required (and eligible). However, applications are lengthy – so I may charge a fee (equivalent to my hourly rate) for this service.

Yes, of course. If you need a letter or written evidence (mental health assessment) for third parties, please get in touch in plenty of time, allowing a minimum of 5 working days. I charge my usual hourly rate for extra work between sessions (minimum fee £20).
You’re welcome to cancel or rearrange your appointment up to 24 hours before we’re due to meet. Once registered as a client – you’ll receive a log-in to manage your appointments online.
I send reminders and appointment notifications by text and email. Unless pre-agreed or in exceptional circumstances, the cancellation policy is 24 hours.
If you’re unwell, have an emergency (or are just not in the right mood!) and need to cancel for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible.
You can reserve an appointment up to one year in advance by paying in full or with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before our session, and you’ll receive an email with your invoice and easy payment details.
Any payments over 30 days overdue will be auto-charged to your card (unless pre-agreed otherwise). Please note, unless pre-agreed, unpaid sessions or missed appointments will be charged and therapy put on hold.

You don’t need a GP referral to book an appointment with me. I offer private therapy and coaching sessions.
Yes, but my professional body won’t cover our work; my usual professional insurance and assurances are invalid – null and void – and you accept and agree to sessions under these terms and conditions.
Although you’ll receive the same standard of treatment and care as my UK-based clients, if you live outside the UK, our work together is not legally covered, and you cannot make any claims against my services or pursue professional legal action against me.

I use the Relational and integrative approaches, drawing on many techniques I’ve learned over the years tailored to suit your personal needs – from the most direct and methodical to the abstract and imaginative visualisations and other creative exercises! It’s your therapy and entirely your choice and experience.
We can switch to Coaching or the App toward the end of therapy if that feels right. It’s an excellent way to transition and implement everything you’ve learned into the real world, your daily life and relationships.
During our initial Introductory Session, we’ll discuss your current situation and the issues you’d like to tackle. We’ll then work together to identify what you’d like from therapy and create an individualised plan of action based on your needs.
Throughout the sessions, I provide compassionate support, transparency, wisdom, reflections, new perspectives, and a human connection that’s real enough to bring our sessions alive, human, and profoundly engaging – sometimes fun! ASD stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder, a broad term covering a range of neurodevelopmental conditions that affect how someone interacts with their environment and processes sensory information.
There are many different ways to be on the spectrum – meaning it manifests differently from person to person.

ADHD Coaching
ADHD coaching is a specialised form of life coaching designed to support those living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Therapy emphasises unravelling your past to make sense of how it’s impacting you today so that you can break free from negative cycles and self-limiting beliefs or self-destructive consequences that have emerged from adverse and harmful past experiences or relationships.
Coaching is best if the past no longer troubles you (or you’d rather not delve into it!). It’s the ideal choice if you prefer to focus mainly on your current experiences and challenges.
Little tip: Be mindful that you’re not avoiding things about the past (minimising your experiences or invalidating your feelings about historical events or relationships). Many people avoid “going there” because it seems too painful or pointless to dwell on the past. Generally speaking, avoiding things only makes them worse. Do memories of the past stir up disturbing or confusing feelings?
